With the return of the Warhammer 40,000 and Fantasy tournaments, War Games is gearing up for another year! Gaelcon will also be hosting a WarMachine and Hordes tournament alongside our open play Figure Games, such as the Battle of Endor (v2.0).

Gaelcon has always been known to have some fantastic Special Events like last year’s Live Action Space Hulk. For this year we plan on holding a unique Blood Bowl tournament and many more interesting and unique games.

This year we'll have a boardgames desk with a selection of games available to borrow subject to a deposit. For the serious boardgamers out there we're running a challenge where points can be scored for playing games with a winner at the end of the convention.

Gaelcon 2011 has a great selection of social events running throughout the weekend for you to choose from. The IGA Charity Auction is, as always, the highlight of the weekend, where funds will be raised for various well-deserving Irish charities.
